Paris attacks: Manchester couple caught up in carnage won’t rule out return

I wrote this online article in the wake of the Paris terror attacks on November 13.

I moved the story on by interviewing Manchester businessman Dominic McGregor, who was at the Stade de France the night of the massacre, about how this has affected his and other British people’s confidence travelling to Paris over Christmas. I chose this news peg after discovering on travel information group Forward Keys’ website that there had been a 13 percent decrease in bookings for travel to Paris over Christmas.

The article targets people in the UK who like to travel and because the witnesses are from Manchester, this makes it particularly relevant to people living in the area.  As the Paris attacks created a global response, the story is also of universal interest.
