Storm Clodagh

Greater Manchester is cleaning up after being battered by Storm Clodagh earlier this week.

Gale force winds of up to 80mph were recorded in the city. Roofs were ripped off and trees were torn down as the storm struck.

I wrote this story for the local news section on Key103’s website and edited the vox pops of local residents in Denton. They told Key103 of their lucky escape as a roof was ripped off a row of shops in Denton.

As this article would be removed from Key103’s website in around a month, I also wrote the story for Quays News, the University of Salford’s online news website.

You can read my article on the Quays News website.
