Young people and dementia


Two thirds of under 18s would like to help someone with Dementia, but a lack of understanding could be holding them back, the Alzheimer’s Society revealed in a report.

The charity and Public Health England are calling on more young people to become a Dementia Friend to help reduce the stigma of the disease.

I produced a TV package from the point of view of 13-year-old Libby and what its like for her to live with her nana who has Alzheimer’s.
